3 or 7 Day Winemaking Getaway
If this sounds good to you, then have we got a deal that you’re going to love. Thistle Meadow Winery, in conjunction with Burgiss Farm Bed & Breakfast*, offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy a week-long winemaker’s getaway package, which includes 7 nights’ accommodations, daily winemaking lessons, recreational activities** to suit your taste, and a wonderful breakfast to begin each day’s activities. For your other meals, we have plenty of recommendations for local restaurants. Just ask.
For those who cannot stay seven nights, we also have a 3-day, 2-night winemaking getaway package for only $650 per couple, which includes recreational activities (hiking, biking, riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, golf, or canoeing), and the same wonderful choices for a delightful breakfast, and some exciting winemaking lessons and tips each day of the stay. And, like the week-long package, each couple will have the choice of taking home 30 bottles of wine or applying a $100 gift certificate toward the purchase of wine making supplies and equipment. Each package has applicable taxes. *If you are the first couple to sign up for a particular week, you will stay at Burgiss Farm Bed & Breakfast. Otherwise, we will arrange accommodations for you at another B&B or hotel nearby. **Your actual recreational events and meals may vary depending upon weather, availability, and your own desires (of course!).
