Celebrations at Burgiss Farm Bed & Breakfast

Come celebrate the times of your life at Burgiss Farm Bed and Breakfast, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwestern North Carolina. Located just three miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway in Laurel Springs, NC, we're happy to lend a hand in helping you celebrate a wedding, honeymoon, birthday, or anniversary.

 
Weddings

Many couples choose to start their new lives together by exchanging vows at Burgiss Farm Bed and Breakfast. Our beautiful natural setting serves as the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. The Appalachian Mountains always seem to conjure up a cool breeze, even in the middle of the summer. You'll be comfortable, and your guests will be too! The reception can be set up under a huge maple tree, along our sprawling deck, or next door at the Burgiss Barn.

Speaking of the Burgiss Barn, it can also be used to celebrate your wedding, hold your reception, host a meal for all of your wedding guests, or use it as a "rain option" just in case a spring/summer/fall storm comes over the mountains. Arrangements for the usage of the barn can be made by calling 800-233-1505 and asking for Jimmy Benge. He will be glad to answer all of your questions. However, the Burgiss Barn and the Burgiss Farm Bed & Breakfast are not the only places on the property to hold your wedding festivities. There is now an idyllic area specially designed for outside events such as weddings. A covered bridge and a colonnade "down by the creek" offers a beautiful scene for just the right moments in your life.

 
Honeymoons

Looking for that special place to celebrate your honeymoon? Burgiss Farm Bed and Breakfast specializes in treating newlyweds in royal fashion. Come stay with us for a night or two, or better yet....

Anniversaries

Old flames (as well as roaring ones) are rekindled when anniversaries are celebrated at Burgiss Farm Bed & Breakfast. Treat your loved one to a relaxing sojourn in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. To help you accomplish that, we offer a relaxing setting in a beautiful valley in Laurel Springs, hiking trails on our 200 acre property, delicious breakfasts chosen by you from our delicious menu choices, a Great Room that invites taking it easy along with music of your choice, and close proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway (peak season is April-October). Come explore our farm and see what wildlife you can spot from a short hike (whitetail deer, eastern cottontails, ruffed grouse, wild turkeys, and don't forget that this is a haven for birds of all types).

One more tempting pleasure is here for your enjoyment – there is a full-fledged winery next door. Thistle Meadow Winery now in its 6th year is awaiting a visit from you. So, come soak your feet in a cool mountain stream and enjoy a million or two stars at twilight. We only provide the setting for these great moments; you get to provide the magic!
